Now we're in trouble.
As of yesterday, my youngest is now crawling.
As this is my second child, the same awe and excitement is not present as it was for our son. Back then it was "wow, he is crawling, how great, how cute!" With Maddie, it is "Crap, get out the gates, move everything off any low table, and don't turn your back for a second" (It is still exciting and cute, but now I know both sides of the coin).
In other news:
Some cool things I like (just random things)---
Woot.com, a cool deal of the day site. I'm not sure if the first one of their type, but one of the best-looking, best-run, and most fun of the Deal of the Day sites out there. A very active comment forum and fun weekly contests. Cool items too. I think they may have a woot-off soon, so check it out!
Party Cake Ice Cream--My wife let my son pick out a ice cream that he could have for special occasions (we eat Edy's slow-churned diet ice cream-really good, but he can have the good stuff as he is not worried about his figure). It is vanilla ice cream with cake and buttercream frosting throughout. It is the devil. It has small amounts of crack in it to heighten the addiction. We cannot give him a small scoop without taking a spoonful for ourselves.
The Junkies--These morning radio guys are based out of DC, and as of Feb. 1, will no longer be heard in Baltimore. While they are juvenile and all that that goes along with morning radio, they are cool to listen to and remind me of my college days watching Sportscenter all morning, playing Sega Genesis Hockey and then Madden football on PlayStation. They have their own lingo which is tough to decipher at first, but then you catch yourself using it with non-listeners and getting weird looks. junkiesradio.com for all their radio DJness and stuff. I will have to make due with their online stream once I get to work now, missing out on a good hour of the show.
Looking forward to AI tonight, I still like the final rounds though versus the freakshow of the opening shows.

In similar food crack news, our neighbor dropped by with 4 boxes of Krispy Kremes last night. I didn't get the explanation. My hearing turned off and mind went blank when I saw them in her hands.
Yeah,
Krispy Kremes are damn good. I think the owner of the franchise up by me went under, a lot of them went out of business up here (damn dieters!).
My hearing goes away and mind blanks after about the 3rd one.
I must be weird though, I like both Krispy Kremes and Dunkin' Donuts. Me and DD go way back, so there was that, but KK's are so good and warm.
DD's coffee is crap though. I can't understand those people that love it. It is always served lava hot, tastes as though it has been on the hot plate for a few days and all their flavored versions don't taste anything like they are supposed to. I digress though, as I have tried their hot white chocolate and it is pretty good.
